390 Golf Experience Facility Shift Leader

This position supervises the 390 Golf Experience Facility operation, including the opening and closing of the facility as scheduled. Direct monitor and support of employees for efficient operations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Supervision of daily operations for facility including opening and closing.
  • Trusted and responsible for proper handling of large sums of money, keys and facility security codes and the adherence to security procedures and policies.
  • Appropriately assist with customer inquiries and disputes.
  • Make and document initial contact with potential facility customers to insure proper follow up.
  • Assist and complete employee schedules.
  • Organize and monitor driving range bays.
  • Assist and perform monthly inventories.
  • Assist with sales and promotions.

Requirements: The minimum age required for this position is 21 years old. High school graduate or GED Certificate one years of experience in a supervisory role.

390 Golf Experience POS Attendant/Greeter

This position’s responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts, keeping track of all cash and credit transactions and managing of the guest who are checking into the facility. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Reports to work on time for each shift with a professional appearance and in full uniform.
  • Trusted and responsible for proper handling of large sums of money.
  • Assisting guest to their tables.
  • Greeting all customers who enter the building.
  • Assisting customers with top tracer technology.
  • The adherence to security procedures and policies.
  • Keep facility, employees, and patrons safe at all times and exercise proper safety procedures especially during inclement weather.
  • Appropriately assist with customer inquiries.
  • Organize and monitor driving range bays.

Requirements: The minimum age required for this position is 16 years old. Cash handling.

Facility Attendants/TopTracer

The Facility Attendant/Top Tracer position includes but is not limited to working as a range bay customer service attendant ensuring guests understand how to use TopTracer system and quickly able to begin their games. The Facility Attendant position would be focused on making sure our customers get their range balls, find their bay, and understand how TopTracer works so they can enjoy their golf range experience.

Essential Job Functions:

  • The Facility Attendant/Top Tracer position includes but is not limited to working as a range bay customer service attendant, ensuring guests understand how to use TopTracer system and are quickly able to begin their games.
  • The Facility Attendant position would be focused on making sure our customers get their range balls, find their bay, and understand how TopTracer works so they can enjoy their golf range experience.
  • The Facility Attendants will be experts at the technical side TopTracer systems and will have the knowledge and the ability to explain the system with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Wood Dale Park District is looking for a person with customer service experience, basic golf knowledge, and strong communication skills.
  • This position is also responsible for maintaining control of the range rules and facility regulations in a professional, friendly, safe, and positive manner.
  • Assist the customer in any way needed to make their experience as positive as possible.
  • Ensure TopTracer is working correctly.

Ball Management Attendant

The Ball Management Attendant position includes but is not limited to working as a range ball picker, cleaner, and managing range ball inventory. The Ball Management Attendant position includes being responsible for keeping a steady flow of clean range balls in stock for our customer’s needs. This includes operating a motor vehicle to pick up range balls from the range infield, cleaning range balls, and making sure the ball dispensing machines stay adequately stocked.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manages inventory and keeps a steady flow of range balls in stock for our customers.
  • Performs combination of following duties at golf driving range: Picks up golf balls by hand or drives vehicle equipped with trailer that automatically picks up balls as vehicle moves over turf infield.
  • Could be responsible for plowing snow off the range in the winter.
  • Starts ball washing machine filled with soapy water and immerses golf balls to remove dirt, grass stain, and club marks.
  • Facilitates ball blower system to ensure clean range balls are sent to the golf ball dispensing machines.
  • Ensure golf ball dispensing machines have a sufficient level of golf ball inventory.
  • Disposes of cracked golf balls.
  • Operate a motor vehicle and ensure safe driving principles and practices.
  • Ability to pick up range buckets from range bays.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements: The minimum age required for this position is 18 years old. High school graduate or GED Certificate.

Facilities Custodian 

The Facilities Custodian is responsible cleaning and custodial care of the 390 Golf Experience Complex. This includes sanitizing & cleaning the facility and monitoring safety systems to make sure the facility is safe, functional and attractive. The Facilities Custodian reports directly to the Golf Facilities Manager. 

 

 Essential Job Functions 

  • Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance which includes sanitizing, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, dusting, restoring and washing any and all floors, walls, windows, carpeting, washroom fixtures, tables, chairs and other permanent or moveable items and fixtures located in the facilities. 
  • Monitor the facilities(all levels) at periodic intervals during work hours for safety, security, property damage, cleanliness and supplies. 
  • Perform set-ups and teardowns of rooms for programs, events and rentals.  
  • Perform general building tasks including custodial, painting, clearing sidewalks, washing and light repairs.  
  • Perform and document the snow removal and salting of pathways and Hitting Bays. 
  • Documents tasks and reports defects or hazards. 
  • Operate and repair equipment used at 390 Golf Experience including hand and power tools. 
  • Perform landscape maintenance to include watering and weeding. 
  • Assist with monthly building inspections. 
  • Assist in the inventory, stocking and ordering of supplies. 
  • Assist in filling out equipment maintenance logs. 
  • Perform and assist with the planning of department duties. 
  • Assist the Golf Facilities Manager with preparing yearly budgets. 
  • Responsible for loss prevention, receiving employee safety training and following safety standards. 
  • Perform documentation of training and accident reports. 
  • Assists the Golf Facilities Manager, and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor with projects as needed. 
  • May be required to stay past scheduled hours or flex hours for rentals and special projects. 
  • Perform other duties and functions as directed including possibly similar work at Salt Creek Golf Course in the Clubhouse upon request. 

Requirements 

  • High School graduate or equivalent. 
  • Must have and maintain a valid Illinois Driver’s License. 
  • Must be 18 years old. 
  • Must be comfortable using computers for e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets and research. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. 
  • CPR/AED/ first aid are required within first six month of hire.  
  • Ability to operate Park District vehicles and equipment such as blowers, snow blowers, trimmers, floor scrubbers/buffers, vacuums and power washers.
